                                                          operational plans of drones by the South Korean
                                                          police, and were presented by professor Young Sook,
                                                          the Director of the International Center for Counter-
                                                          Terrorism Research at the Korean Police University.
                                                          Another paper, that discussed the drone system for
                                                          firefighting and its future development, has been
                                                          presented by Kim Sang Hyun, the head of Aviation for
                                                          Firefighting Department at the National Fire Agency of
                                                          South Korea.

                                                            The first day also included discussion of scientific
                                                          papers on addressing threats and exploring
                                                          opportunities, as well as highlighting NAUSS initiatives
                                                          regarding drones. Other topics covered included
                                                          drone operations and border protection by the Royal
                                                          Malaysian Police, drones and crowd management,
